TASK 1

  1. Research ‘Interoperability within BIM’ what does this term mean?  Show examples how you would use a road map or flow diagram for BIM.
  2. Discuss the process for collecting data from the construction of a project back to the design stage (this could be Asset information such as installation dates).
  3.  Finally, what BIM data is being used on your site within Wates?

Points to consider:

Ask your supervisor if they can share a Road Map or flow diagram.

  2. What information can we get from desktop research?
  3. What information can we get from site surveys?
  4. Brief overview of what Product datasheets are and how are they applied to construction activities?
